Nurse Manager

The position is for the Nurse Manager for the general medicine unit at a large medical center in the greater Seattle area. Average daily census (ADC) is 29, staff of approx. 60. Typically oncology patients, GI bleeds, infectious diseases, and some respiratory patients. This unit will be incorporating with the Neuro Unit - ***Someone w/ a strong Neuro Mgmt background will be considered.***

The salary range is between $95K and $110K, based on "unit management" (not educator or charge nurse) experience.

PRE-REQUISITES:

1. Current Washington State RN licensure is required.

2. Masters degree preferred.

3. Minimum of three (3) years management experience required.

4. Three (3) years clinical experience within the last seven (7) years preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Ability to comprehend, execute and act within scope of practice.

2. Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form in the English language.

3. Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills in a diverse population.

4. Able to communicate and work effectively with the physical and emotional developments of all age groups.
