S/he serves as an administrative representative for the Nursing Administrator. S/he provides direct patient care in each unit as assigned as a clinical role model and support. She is accountable for the orientation and competency verification processes for staff. S/he monitors and intervenes to assure compliance with established standards of practice. S/he also performs functions designed to fulfill the facility's mission statement, to achieve customer satisfaction, and to identify system problems appropriately to achieve improvement. This individual is held accountable for demonstrating high standards of general conduct and professional performance at all times.Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Current Georgia licensure as a Registered Nurse. Demonstrated proficiency in clinical and managerial skills within initial evaluation period. Two years recent experience in multi-specialty areas. Current certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP.Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science or Master's Degree in Nursing.
