Advance Practice Nurse-Wound Care

Basic Requirements:

- Master's Degree in Nursing or related discipline with B.Sc. in Nursing;

- Minimum of three (3) years related experience in medical/surgical nursing;

- Member of RNAO and other related interest groups;

- Demonstrates knowledge of the medical/surgical, complex care and community support services required by the patient population;

- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, problem solving and decision making skills;

- Research, teaching, and consulting skills;

- Knowledge of computers including MS office (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, Statistical programs etc.);

- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario;

- Evidence of progressive leadership and responsibility positions within Nursing;

- Evidence of continuing professional development.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Advanced practice experience;

- Previous experience in leadership, research, program development and evaluation.

- Enterostomal Therapist designation

-Proficiency in speaking and comprehending both English and French (level A-).
