Analyst - Clinical Lab Operations-Nurse Specialist

The Analyst takes exceptional care of people by identifying and providing quality solutions for BJC Information Technology. The Analyst coordinates the requirements necessary for developing, enhancing, and supporting clinical and non-clinical Information Systems.

Qualifications


- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

- Information Technology experience - 1 year or more

- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) experience - 1 year or more

- Analytical/Problem Solving Skills

This Analyst will be part of a customer focused team that supports Laboratory Department systems at BJC facilities. Responsibilities include working with the Laboratory staff to define system requirements, working with vendors to install new interfaces, and coordinating project and testing activities between Information Services and the Hospitals. Laboratory technicians who desire to move into the IT field or are working towards technical certifications in hardware or software are encouraged to apply. Experience implementing and/or upgrading vended clinical systems is a plus. The ideal candidates will have 2+ years of experience in the above responsibilities.
