Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.2. BSN preferred.3. Demonstrates knowledge of infection control practices.4. Cognizant of the physical and general characteristics of the various age related groups.5. Demonstrates knowledge of nursing theory, diseases and therapeutics and is able to recognize changes in patient status and report pertinent information to physicians.6. Clinical skills commensurate with allowed scope of responsibility.7. Ability to work independently, demonstrates neatness, organizational skills and deadline awareness.8. Computer literate.B. Required Length and Type of Experience1. Minimum three years clinical experience2. Related supervisory experience preferred.C. Required Licensure, Certification or Registry1. Current Florida Registered Professional Nurse License2. Current BLS certification3. Current ACLS certification required for Cardiology and Endoscopy4.
