Clinical Nurse Specialist, Specialty Ed

Strong Emergency and Education skills in a high acuity hospital.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides leadership in collaboration with the healthcare team to define and integrate best practice models for designated patient populations throughout the continuum of care. Serves as an expert in the areas of clinical practice, education and research. Improves patient outcomes by identifying processes that promote high quality, cost effective patient care. Performs related responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia. A master's degree in Nursing or health related field. Five years of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse which includes at least two years of recent years experience (within the last five years) in the area of concentration.

hours and days based on business needs of the department.

Preferred Qualifications Strong Emergency and Educational Skills, ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS.

Additional Job Details Bed capacity, 30 beds, high acuity, tertiary referral center, 30,000 visits per year.
