Assists during trans-esophageal exam. Assesses patients pre, during,and post from moderate sedation. Assists with starting IV's and injecting contrast for echo-cardiograms. Other duties as assigned.Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Experience: Minimum two years recent nursing experience. Acute Inpatient experience strongly desired.Licensure/Certification/Registration: Licensed as a Registered Nurse. Current BCLS and ACLS perferred.Physical Requirements: Requires full range of motion; manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Requires normal or corrected hearing and vision to normal range. Requires ability to push and manuever patients on carts and wheelchairs. Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids. Ability to work on computers. Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
