DescriptionThe University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC), a Magnet-designated facility, is currently identifying nursing positions in various acute care, intermediate care, emergency care, psychiatry and some critical care &; trauma units for newly graduated RN candidates.Our year-long New Graduate Nurse Residency Program, a component of employment orientation, provides a variety of educational programs, and supervised practice in development of assessment skills pertaining to patient care; critical thinking, and patient safety.Applications, and resumes may be submitted on-line.
