DescriptionNurse Practitioner, Cardiology In-PatientUniversity of Maryland Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a desire to join our premier multidisciplinary team in our Cardiology Program. The NP provides leadership in the management of patients presenting with complex cardiac diagnoses. Our Cardiology Program serves as a referral center for patients in Maryland and beyond.The NP performs examination, evaluation, assessment and interpretation of clinical data to provide care to patients presenting with a variety of cardiovascular diseases and complaints. Professional practice is in conjunction with other NPs, RNs, physicians and administrative support staff. The position offers a full time, four - 10 hour shift schedule, with potential for shift rotation.The successful candidate will have completed a Nurse Practitioner program at the Masters level, with Acute Care NP certification required. Maryland licensure is necessary.
