They assist in maintaining a positive physical, social, and psychological environment for patients. These and other role functions as assigned will participate in supporting the facility's mission statement, achieving customer satisfaction, and identifying system problems as opportunities for improvement exposure to infectious/contagious diseases, hazardous chemicals and materials. Contact with patients and visitors under a wide variety of circumstances and unpredictable situations. Subject to long, irregular work hours. Subject to humid, warm work environment during summer months. Subject to mental, emotional, and physical stress. Must have ready access to transportation and telephone for on-call availability.Minimum Qualifications: High school graduate (or equivalent), previous hospital experience, knowledge of medical terminology, completion of an appropriate related training program - Medical Assistant, Current CNA Certification and current certification in BCLS.
