REGISTERED NURSE WEEKENDER - GEN MED/SURG - 3 EASTLocation: Methodist Mansfield Medical CenterDepartment: Med-Surg NursingSchedule: Part-timeShift: NightHours: 7p-7aJob Details: *The Registered Nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assignment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.Current Texas RN license or Multi-State compact RN license, ACLS and CPR required. 1 year work related experience in a hospital setting required. Candidate required to work two 12 hour shifts (24 hours) per weekend. Participant works at least 48 of 52 weekends in a floating 12-month period.The surgical acute department cares for a wide range of patients from general post op, bariatrics, ortho-neuro and medical. Our nurses enjoy a positive work environment where there are reduced nurse patient ratios, electronic charting, and healthy physician and nursing relationships.
