Senior Specialist Nurse with in a Nursing Home environment.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a full time senior nurse with in a medium size nursing home in Surrey.

We are looking for a specialist senior nurse within Wound or Tissue management, Diabetes, Incontinence or Palliative care to work with the home manager and deputy manager to push forward specialist nursing focus areas. You will also take responsible for the home in the absence of the senior management.

On a daily basis your role will involve supervising a unit of ten residents with a team of 6 care staff. You will be involve in the daily nursing activities including assessing, planning and implementing care plans and distribution of medication and leading and supervising your team.

The post is full time with the opportunity to take overtime. Shifts can be either long days 3 shifts per week or 8am-2pm or 2pm-8am. Salary Circa £26,000.

Successful applicants must hold an RGN/RMN qualification and have a valid NMC PIN. If successful you will be subject to an enhanced CRB check.
